Depok, August 28, 2024 – The Vocational School of the University of Indonesia (UI) has officially established a partnership with PT Zahir Internasional through the Zahir ERP Academic Partner program. This program is designed to strengthen students’ digital competencies in the field of accounting. This collaboration is open to educational institutions such as universities, high schools, foundations, and training centers.

Statement from UI Vocational School
Thesa Adi Purwanto, S.Sos., M.TI., Chair of the UI Vocational Tax Administration Program, explained that this partnership is a strategic move. “The partnership between Zahir ERP and the UI Tax Administration Program is already in the final stages. Discussions began a year ago, primarily regarding the readiness of hardware, servers, and curriculum integration,” he said.
Curriculum and Technology Module Integration
Thesa added that the rapid pace of digital transformation makes ERP modules essential to learning. Modules such as purchasing, inventory, and sales should be part of the curriculum due to their relevance to taxation and accounting. Additional modules can be included as needed by the industry.
Collaboration Between the Education Sector and Industry
Through this program, Zahir ERP will provide training modules and facilitate professional certification. Thesa also hopes that Zahir ERP will expand its collaboration with more academic institutions. “Competition is very fierce. The integration of training modules and professional certification is essential for vocational students,” she added.
